Two visits in two years – that’s how magnificent Malta is. This incredibly understated island country is tiny but mighty.. When it comes to diversity, Malta does not disappoint! With megalithic sites 2,000 years older than pyramids, a combination of 359 churches, cathedrals and basilicas, a beautiful coastline and clean warm waters, 7 Michelin restaurants and over 20 Michelin mentions, walled cities from 1100 AD, and a rich history of inhabitants – it is a true Mediterranean gem. My pick over Italy, and that’s saying a lot!
